Dr Shumyra is a graduate from Doon PG Paramedical College and Hospital, Dehradun and has done post graduation with specialization in neuro physiotherapy from the same college. She has treated some of the most complex cases while working at some of the top and best hospitals in India that includes, Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Ivy Hospital, Mohali in Punjab, Shakuntala Vivek Memorial Hospital and Metro Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr Shumyra’s specialization is in treating patient with movement disorders like Parkinson’s as well rehabilitation for stroke patients. Her multi-pronged approach and working closely with patient is the secret behind her excellent results as neuro-physiotherapist. Apart from neuro physiotherapy Dr Shumyra is also has excellent records when it comes to treating patients with back pain, cervical spondylitis, sciatica pain, back spasms, arthritis, sports injury management/recovery etc. At CLAGS Centre in Mohali Dr Shumyra has developed a comprehensive antenatal program for expecting mothers.
