Hymen is a tissue covering the opening of the vagina in the female. It is flexible elastic like and has a hole in it which allows the menstrual blood to come out. This operation will create a barrier to penile penetration but may not result in bleeding after intercourse. This surgery is normally done 1 month before the marriage.
